Quit4Life+ has always been about more than the research itself. Bringing people together across institutions, countries, and disciplines created opportunities not only to plan, learn, and solve problems, but also to build the trust and friendships that have made this collaboration strong and lasting.

Our investigator meetings gave the team time to work together in person, share ideas, celebrate progress, and enjoy one another’s company. Trainings reached a broader audience, including health professionals, researchers, and other stakeholders, helping to strengthen skills and build capacity in tobacco cessation, research, and implementation science. Stakeholder engagement activities also helped ensure that the work remained connected to the priorities and realities of the communities and health systems we hope to serve.
